Photovoltaic arrays generate stable and renewable electricity, which are mainly used in the absence of electrical transmission and distribution network. Similar to a layered composite, solar cells consist several layers such as glass layer, transparent layer, negative silicon layer, and positive silicon layer. The glass layer is one of the most important components of the solar cell, which is directly exposed to solar energy radiation and experiences many temperature changes during the day and night. Due to the different coefficients of thermal expansion of different layers, cracking of the glass layer is possible. The presence of one or more primary microscopic cracks in this layer and the extreme ambient temperature gradient will lead to the crack growth, resulting the failure or destruction of the glass layer, as well as improper functioning of the solar cell. In this research, crack growth in the glass layer is simulated by the extended finite element method and the effect of the length, location and angle of the initial crack as well as the thickness and dimensions of the layer are investigated. The results of numerical simulations reveal that among the above parameters, the dimensions of the protective glass layer have the greatest impact on the crack growth.}, keywords = {Gallium-Arsenide Solar Cell,Temperature Gradient,Crack Growth,Extended finite element method}, title_fa = {شبیه‌سازی عددی رشد ترک در لایه شیشه‌ای سلول خورشیدی گالیوم-آرسناید}, abstract_fa = {سلول‌های خورشیدی فضایی معمولا از جنس گالیوم-آرسناید ساخته شده و کاربرد بسیار زیادی دارند. آرایه‌های فوتوولتاییک، الکتریسیته پایدار و تجدیدپذیری را تولید می‌کنند که عمدتاً در موارد عدم وجود شبکه انتقال و توزیع الکتریکی کاربرد دارند. مشابه یک کامپوزیت لایه‌ای، سلول‌های خورشیدی از لایه‌های مختلفی مانند لایه شیشه‌ای، لایه شفاف، لایه سیلیکون منفی و لایه سیلیکون مثبت تشکیل می‌گردند. لایه شیشه‌ای یکی از مهم‌ترین لایه‌های تشکیل دهنده سلول خورشیدی بوده که در معرض مستقیم تابش انرژی خورشید قرار گرفته و در طی یک شبانه‌روز تغییرات دمایی زیادی را تجربه می‌کند. به‌دلیل متفاوت بودن ضرایب انبساط حرارتی لایه‌های مختلف، به‌وجود آمدن ترک در لایه شیشه‌ای امری محتمل است. وجود یک یا چند ترک اولیه میکروسکوپی در این لایه و گرادیان شدید دمای محیط منجر به رشد ترک و در نتیجه شکست یا تخریب لایه شیشه‌ای و هم‌چنین عملکرد نادرست سلول خورشیدی خواهد گردید. در این تحقیق رشد ترک در لایه شیشه‌ای سلول خورشیدی به روش اجزای محدود توسعه‌یافته شبیه‌سازی شده و تاثیر طول، مکان و زاویه ترک اولیه و هم‌چنین ضخامت و ابعاد لایه بررسی می‌گردد. نتایج شبیه‌سازی‌های عددی آشکار می‌کند که از بین پارامترهای فوق، ابعاد لایه شیشه‌ای محافظ بیشترین تاثیر را در رشد ترک دارد.}, keywords_fa = {سلول خورشیدی گالیم-آرسناید,تغییرات دمایی,رشد ترک,روش اجزای محدود توسعه یافته}, url = {https://mechanic-ferdowsi.um.ac.ir/article_42085.html}, eprint = {https://mechanic-ferdowsi.um.ac.ir/article_42085_365a372290af2e75861ab8f76108f15b.pdf} }
